Pumpkins in Oil

This painting is my second attempt at oil painting. The contrast between the blue background and the orange and yellow pumpkins make the pumpkins stand out as the foreground. The brush strokes of the painting showed the light, shadows, and lines of the pumpkin.I feel the most successful part of this is the way I handled the lights and shadows, as well as the tones of both the cold and warm colors.
