Green Winged Teal (State 2nd, Junior Duck Stamp Contest, featured in Newspaper)

This was done as an entry to Junior Duck Stamp Contest, an art contest sponsored by the government. The fund from selling duck stamp goes to wetlands and waterfowl conservation. The Green Winged Teal was a fun subject to draw because of its brilliant color and feathers. This piece won me 2nd place in Grade 7-9, NJ. Later on World Daily (a Chinese Newspaper) published an article on me and chose this picture on the front page.
