Kunimasu (Oncorhynchus kawamurae)
A digital painting (scientific illustration) of a spawning adult male kunimasu, or black kokanee from Lake Saiko, Japan. It was commissioned by a University of Washington professor for a research paper accepted by the journal Fish and Fisheries. This is one fish of six for this project.
